The police in Manchester began an investigation into an attack against Manchester City`s wing, Rahim Stirling. The English national has been the victim of a racist attack on the citizens` front door before the Tottenham Premier League match. The midfielder has parked his car and on his way out he has heard his insults on racial grounds. He asked the man who sent them, what had caused him to treat it. In reply, he kicked his leg and fled.
A lawsuit was filed against the act and the police investigated the case as a hate crime.
The incident, however, did not prevent Stirling from pushing two goals in the subsequent match.
