Ferrari boss Mattia Binotto may leave his post in the near future.
According to the famous Italian journalist Leo Turrini, Binotto`s position as a leader has noticeably weakened due to the unsuccessful 2022 season.
According to Turrini, Ferrari bosses are considering at least two candidates as a replacement for Binotto.
The first is the current head of Alfa Romeo, Frederic Vasser. Vasseur is believed to be supported, among other things, by his previous experience working with Charles Leclerc, as well as his good relationship with Nicolas Todt.
The second candidate is Antonio Coletta, who currently runs Ferrari`s GT racing program.
Mattia Binotto has been leading Ferrari since January 2019, replacing Maurizio Arrivabene in this post. Ferrari has now won seven races and 23 pole positions in four years under Binotto. The team`s best achievement is second place in the Constructors` Championship in 2019-this season Ferrari still has a chance to repeat the achievement.
